The OCIA process is an encounter between us and Jesus Christ through His Church – the Catholic
Church. Throughout the OCIA process we will share our personal experiences and relationships with
Jesus Christ. We will also learn about the teaching of Christ as it is interpreted by the Church that He
founded, the Catholic Church. The purpose of OCIA is to build up a solid relationship with our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ, as well as to learn His way of living the good life – which includes all His
teachings that come from Sacred Scriptures, Catholic Sacred Tradition, and the developments that have
come from His Church through the ages.The journey begins Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, at 7pm in the Saint Ann Center, 336 Main Street, Oxford.
